the apartment
Anémone is one of two buildings at the end of a
private road in woods above Barboleuse. Facing south and
at an altitude of 1400m it has spectacular views across
the valley to the massif of the Grand Muveran with its
3000m peaks. The strikingly designed Anémone building
was completed in 1985 and is about 50 metres from its
smaller and slightly older partner, Iris. One traditional
building nearby shares the access road and the only other
buildings in sight are far across the valley below. Through
the woods at the back of the site quietly passes the Barboleuse
Les Chaux télécabine for winter skiers and
summer walkers.
We offer a very comfortable apartment for six people but
if your party is larger and in particular includes young
children, the first floor bedroom can easily accommodate
four. Also the sofa-bed on the lower balcony can be brought
inside to provide another alternative. The dining table
seats 8 but will extend to seat 12.
